Tony Slade,  Founder

Tony Slade has almost 10 years professional experience in the entertainment industry as an Actor/Director/Writer and lately has dabbled in producing as well. In addition to his duties at The Pirate he is also the Director of Operations for TUCU Productions www.theundercoverunit,com which is a fully interactive theatrical experience. He has written 3 films one of which now available worldwide, the other 2 are ready to go into pre-production and has 3 more in the works.

Christopher O'Brien

Christopher O'Brien, Founder

IChristopher O’Brien has been working in multimedia for over 20 years. He has been the Creative Director for some of America’s top radio stations. For CBS radio in Philadelphia he wrote, produced and directed the creative for “The Howard Stern Show” and for “The Philadelphia Eagles Radio Network” in addition to that he was hired by CBS Radio to create branding for other stations in the chain including the Number 1 rated Active Rock Station in America 94 WYSP. He was hired away from CBS to help create the branding for the launch of XM Satellite Radio. While at XM he developed the unique soundscapes of XM’s Comedy, BPM, 20 on 20, and XM Talk stations heard nationwide. During his time at XM he was the co-creator of “The Cool Guy Show” a nightly radio cartoon heard on XM’s “Liquid Metal” channel. He has been nominated for awards for his radio documentaries on the tragedies of September 11 and Hurricane Sandy and won an “Air Award” for his P.S.A. for “Toys for Tots” beating out PBS and NPR. Chris has always had a passion for filmmaking and it was on his first feature length film “Tapped” that he cast Pirate TV’s co-founder Tony Slade to star in the movie. In the film world Chris has directed commercials and documentaries including “Penning the Pursuit” a film on the writer of HBO’s “24/7” series featuring Liev Shreiber. His film on the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers announcer Lou Nolan was played in front of thousands at the  Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia several times. Chris believes that creativity can be used to help any venture and was a member of the board and a consultant for the campaign of Francisco Ginger Abati for the University of Salamanca in Spain. Chris is tasked with developing the branding for “The Pirate” and for making sure that the unique branding is properly created and presented.
